About the Comprehensive Cancer Center Zurich

The Comprehensive Cancer Center Zurich (CCCZ) is a joint oncology center of excellence of the University Hospital Zurich and the University of Zurich, including Balgrist University Hospital and the University Children's Hospital Zurich. Innovative cancer medicine and cancer research are combined at the CCCZ. Together, we pool the knowledge of all our experts in the field of oncology.

Our tasks

CCCZ: Medical care at the highest level
We offer cancer patients holistic and multidisciplinary medicine at the highest level. We always incorporate the latest research findings. Thanks to the numerous clinical studies that we develop and conduct at the CCCZ, we are able to offer our patients the latest therapeutic procedures.

CCCZ: Innovative cancer research
Our goal is to improve the care of cancer patients. To this end, we develop new technologies and rapidly and prudently transfer findings from basic research to clinical application. We are establishing interdisciplinary research programs in precision oncology. In this way, we provide our patients with access to personalized treatment concepts.

CCCZ: Excellent education and knowledge transfer
We support the next generation of talented scientists, physicians and oncology professionals in their professional and personal development. Together, we are continually learning how to improve the care we provide to our patients. We inform cancer patients, relatives and the interested public objectively and transparently about treatment options and current research approaches.
