We rely on close networking between the basic biomedical sciences, clinical research and the care of our patients. At the same time, we benefit from the close cooperation with ETH Zurich and other international research institutions. Priorities in research are HIV, infectious diseases subsequent to transplantation and bacterial and foreign body associated infections. In addition we perform epidemiological studies.
