A stroke is an emergency where every minute counts! It is therefore important that you act quickly and call the emergency number 144 immediately. When using certain treatments, there is only a time window of 4.5 hours between the onset of symptoms and the treatment measures. If this time is used, the chances of surviving and being able to leave the hospital without permanent damage or disability are improved.
