As our population ages, age-related diseases are on the rise. But is it right to equate ageing with illness? While aging cannot be stopped completely, targeted changes can influence the process, helping us to stay healthy longer. The Healthy Longevity Concept, developed as part of the DO-HEALTH study, is designed to provide you with the latest scientific findings on longevity.
Every person has an individual health profile that is influenced by lifestyle, environment and genetics. Our services are aimed at those who want to monitor and improve their long-term health and quality of life. As part of the University Hospital Zurich, we offer scientifically based services at the forefront of medicine and research.
The Healthy Longevity Clinic evaluates your health based on the latest scientific evidence.
Our recommendations are tailored to your needs, and it is up to you to define your personal goals. We provide personalized recommendations for preventing chronic diseases and slowing down the aging process.
Our initial consultation lasts about 1 to 2 hours. To prepare, we ask you to provide relevant medical documents and fill out some questionnaires. During this consultation, you and your doctor will decide about the further examinations together.
We offer a range of examinations including a comprehensive internal examination, blood draw, spiroergometry, bone density and muscle mass measurement, ultrasound examination. In addition, we record all sensory functions and your dietary and exercise habits, as well as sleep quality and mental health. In addition, we use digital methods to record your metabolic condition as needed. The results of these examinations, as well as the questionnaires, form the basis for the recommendations that your doctor will put together for you.
The initial consultation is charged regardless of the further decision. Examinations that are medically required as a result of the initial consultation might be covered by your health insurance. Additional examinations may be covered by your additional insurance. You will receive the invoice directly and can submit it to your health insurance.
