Special consultation hours

There are health problems that require the involvement of several specialists. These can include dizziness, abdominal pain or chronic pain. In such cases, we offer our patients special consultation hours. Appointments with different experts are combined so that our patients can save time.

Outpatient treatments and operations

In addition to outpatient treatments, our surgeons are increasingly able to perform diagnostic and surgical procedures on an outpatient basis thanks to ever more sophisticated anesthesia and surgical methods. We have several state-of-the-art operating theaters at USZ Airport for this purpose. This has several advantages for our patients: they only have to schedule one day for the operation, can go home on the same day and recover in familiar surroundings.

A small selection from our wide range of services:

• Our Department of Dermatology offers the entire spectrum for the clarification and treatment of skin diseases and allergies.
• The Department of Nephrology provides comprehensive clarification of kidney diseases in addition to all pre- and post-operative care. The new dialysis centre has 16 places in a pleasant ambience.
• Our experts at Department of Gastroenterology and Hepatology offer preventive colonoscopies and general endoscopic examinations as well as a wide range of functional diagnostics and selected special consultations.
• The Department of Medical Oncology and Haematology, in cooperation with the Department of Radiation Oncology, offers cancer therapies according to the latest medical knowledge and carries out radiation treatments with the latest generation of equipment.
• Several operating theatres are available on site for outpatient operations.
