We are delighted that you are interested in working at the USZ! Here you will find detailed information about the various stages of the application process and answers to frequently asked questions.
We are happy to receive your application via various channels.
As soon as we have received your application, you will receive a confirmation email from us. The person responsible will check your documents as quickly as possible. If your application meets our desired criteria, we will be happy to invite you by e-mail to an initial interview and/or trial day.
If you are not shortlisted for the position you have applied for, you will receive prompt feedback.
This is an opportunity to get to know each other and ask questions. Different people will be present depending on the vacancy. In addition to your line manager, these could be people from recruitment and/or your future team.
For certain vacancies, we invite you to take an online assessment. This way we can assess your personality and skills even better. The online assessment can be completed from home and takes between 20 and 90 minutes.
As a rule, we conduct a second interview if the first one went well. Any final unanswered questions are clarified and your online assessment may be discussed. A business case will be presented for certain vacancies, in order to assess your abilities and problem-solving skills based on a specific example. In addition, you will get to know your future team.
We will inform you shortly after the second interview about our decision. If you too are convinced that we are a good employer, you will then receive your employment order.
Even before you start working for us, you will receive useful information on your work and the USZ. On “Welcome Day”, which takes place on the first working day of each month, you and other new employees will be welcomed by a member of the hospital management and given your personal badge. Now you can be personally introduced to the members of your team.
We only accept applications online (see “Online application”). Dossiers which are submitted by post can unfortunately not be considered for the above-mentioned reason.
If you have forgotten which e-mail you used to register, you can contact willkommen@usz.ch and we will help you.
If you have forgotten your password, you can click on the “Reset password” button. A password reset will then be sent to your e-mail address.
