The staff of the Department of Internal Medicine are all generalists, i.e. doctors with a specialist qualification in general internal medicine, as well as specialists with a second specialist qualification or other more specialized knowledge. This combination of knowledge within the Department of Internal Medicine enables integrative and comprehensive care of patients with simple and complex symptoms, problems or illnesses.
