Driven by a shared vision to revolutionize brain imaging, Optohive is a Swiss Medtech startup co-founded by Dr. Matteo Pavan, Marc Willhaus, Dr. Dominik Wyser and Michael Wyser. Optohive develops next-generation brain imaging solutions to advance neuroscience and improve healthcare outcomes.
Optohive is developing a new generation of wearable fNIRS-based brain imaging technology (functional near-infrared spectroscopy), designed for high resolution, reliability, and usability. The modular platform provides researchers and clinicians with precise, objective brain data, enabling breakthroughs in neuroscience and advancing precision medicine. With applications in areas such as ADHD diagnosis, stroke rehabilitation, and cognitive neuroscience, Optohive aims to improve how brain health is measured and understood.
Besides being a USZ Startup, Optohive is an ETH Zurich spin-off.
