Dear colleagues and friends,
As I will be retiring at the end of July 2026, I am delighted to invite you to my farewell symposium, “Translational HIV medicine in Zurich and beyond – from the past to the future. I have worked as a physician and researcher for a total of 35.5 years, including a good 30 years at the USZ. Our HIV research at the USZ in the context of Swiss and international research will therefore be the focus of the symposium, and I am particularly looking forward to the glimpse into the future that the speakers will give us.
The symposium will conclude – how could it be otherwise – with an Apéro/reception, and I would be delighted to raise a glass with you after the exciting presentations!
Please register for the symposium by 12th June 2026 so that we can estimate how many people will be attending the reception. If you decide only later to attend, you are of course also welcome without registration!
See you soon!
