Consultation hours for competitive athletes
We specialize in hormonal disorders and cycle problems. Our aim is to provide holistic treatment to alleviate symptoms and maintain performance in the long term.
- Anamnesis and discussion: At the beginning, a detailed anamnesis is taken and the complaints are discussed.
- Examination: If necessary and desired, this will be followed by a physical examination including ultrasound.
- Additional tests: Blood tests or further examinations can be carried out as required.
- Interdisciplinary cooperation: If necessary, we refer patients to other specialists at the USZ.
- Discussion of results and treatment: Together, we assess the results and draw up a treatment plan tailored to your individual needs.
No preparation is necessary for a visit to our consultation hours. It is helpful for us if you bring your relevant documents with you. These are doctor’s letters, lab results, cycle calendars or food diaries. You can send us these documents in advance by e-mail to help you prepare for your visit.
After the consultation, we discuss the results of the examinations together and determine the next steps. Depending on the findings, we recommend further examinations or treatment with medication. We will look after you for as long as necessary.
