Research at the Clinic for Pneumology

Our research covers the entire spectrum of pulmonary medicine - from clinical studies in hospitals to translational projects in close collaboration with research partners. We deal with various diseases such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), pulmonary hypertension, sleep-associated respiratory disorders such as obstructive and central sleep apnea, lung cancer, lung transplantation, dyspnea and the physiological changes under hypoxia. By closely combining science and clinical practice, we are developing new ways to specifically improve the diagnosis and treatment of lung diseases.
