The USZ remains one of Switzerland’s most attractive employers in 2026: In the latest Universum Ranking, it ranks second among students in the health and medicine fields. This makes the USZ the highest-ranked hospital in German-speaking Switzerland and one of the most attractive employers in Switzerland overall.
For the ranking, Universum surveys students to find out which employers they would most like to work for and which qualities they consider particularly important in an employer. The “Most Attractive Employer Rankings” are published annually and show how students perceive and evaluate potential employers.
We are pleased to have once again achieved a top ranking. It highlights our strengths as an employer and showcases what students and recent graduates can expect at the USZ: diverse career opportunities, professional development, and an innovative environment in the healthcare sector.
