Vaccination consultation

Vaccination is a simple and effective method of reliable protection against infection. This is particularly important for people whose immune system is weakened due to age, chronic illnesses or immunological therapies. A complete basic immunization against preventable infectious diseases is recommended for all people regardless of age and underlying disease and can be carried out in our consultation hours.

Our offer includes the following services:

  • Individual advice: Personal consultation with a check of your vaccination card. If necessary, we adapt the vaccination recommendations to your individual state of health (e.g. immunosuppression) and optimize your vaccination protection according to your needs and risk behaviour.
  • Up-to-date recommendations: You will always receive up-to-date, individually tailored vaccination recommendations in accordance with the latest medical guidelines based on the Federal Vaccination Commission (FCVC) of the Federal Office of Public Health (FOPH).
  • Advice for travelers (pre-travel): Individual vaccination and travel advice, tailored to your destination and your underlying illness, including special vaccinations such as yellow fever. Our recommendations are based on the guidelines of the Swiss Expert Commission for Travel Medicine (EKRM).
  • Vaccinations on site: All vaccines licensed in Switzerland can be administered directly during consultation hours at the University Hospital Zurich. Certain special vaccines can also be imported from abroad in consultation with our hospital pharmacy.

We pay particular attention to vaccinations for people whose immune system is weakened due to age, chronic illness or immunological issues. Our experienced team will advise you specifically on individual vaccination strategies, assess complex situations safely and offer you tailor-made solutions to protect you against infectious diseases.
