Referring physicians of the Institute of Clinical Chemistry

The Institute of Clinical Chemistry (IKC) provides rapid, high quality and cost-effective laboratory diagnostics for patient care and clinical research. Laboratory analyses are primarily performed for outpatients and inpatients at the University Hospital Zurich, but additional services are also provided for external clients.

Report of Findings

For external customers, the findings are either printed out and sent by first-class mail or emailed, if this function has been agreed upon and programmed. In principle, it is also possible to connect an external hospital information system via the HL7 interface. Registration and further information on this service can be obtained from the UZL secretariat.
