Medical imaging support for your projects

Our radiological facility provides non-clinical imaging as a service. We support research from a small methodological imaging project to multi-center clinical trials with the aim to support and foster local, domestic, and international academic research employing cutting edge CT imaging technology. Our research groups work at the Department of Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology of the University Hospital Zurich.

Services

We offer state-of-the-art imaging as a service on the following devices:

  • Dual-source photon-counting detector CT
  • Single-source photon-counting detector CT
  • Third generation dual-source energy-integrating detector CT
  • Single-source energy-integrating detector CT

The optimization of acquisition protocols – tailored to your research question – is included, as well as free test scans to check the feasibility prior to the project proposal.

We consider ourselves as not only research service providers but also have an experienced research team that can provide you with technical or methodological support, if required.

Acknowledgments

All published work that includes results obtained using resources of the Institute of Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology must acknowledge. A copy of the publication should sent as paper or pdf to the medical staff of the department.

Examples for acknowledgments

“Imaging was performed with the CT scanner of the Institute of Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology, University Hospital Zurich and the University of Zurich.”
