Research Group Structural Heart Surgery

The Structural Heart Surgery research group focuses on advancing minimally invasive techniques for treating heart valve and congenital heart defects. Their work includes refining transcatheter aortic valve implantation and other innovative reconstruction methods to improve patient outcomes. Additionally, their research on external stenting for saphenous vein grafts demonstrates efforts to reduce early postoperative graft failure, enhancing the durability and success of surgical interventions.
