For the sixth year, the Forbes 30 under 30 Europe list is proving that youth is not wasted on the young. Forbes presents the 30 Under 30 Class of 2021: 600 of the brightest young entrepreneurs, leaders, and stars. The USZ health innovation hub is more than happy to announce that one of them is PHILIPPE GANZ, Co-founder and CEO of our Portfolio Start-Up aiEndoscopic.

aiEndoscopic is a medical devices company that focuses on innovation in airway management. They develop REALITI – an assistive device for easier and safer tracheal intubations: with the help of computer vision software and artificial intelligence, the doctor is shown how to insert the endoscope correctly without causing any mucosal injuries, bruises in the throat, or injuries to the vocal cords. A year and a half ago, co-founder and CEO Philippe Ganz saw the potential of such a device and subsequently began demonstrating the product in various hospitals. This year, he made it into Forbes DACH 30 under 30. CEO Philip Glanz wants his project to relieve paramedics and ultimately save lives.
