The Department of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the University Hospital Zurich offers comprehensive diagnostics and therapy for clinical pictures of gastroenterology and hepatology. In addition to the best diagnostics and state-of-the-art therapy, we place particular emphasis on preventive care and early detection as well as comprehensive aftercare following interventions.
We are characterized by our extensive experience in all common endoscopic and sonographic procedures and our excellent technical equipment. Our special focus areas of hepatology, inflammatory bowel disease, endoscopy, and motility/functional diseases of the gastrointestinal tract offer consultations and consultations at the highest medical level. Even in difficult situations, we can offer individualized therapy. Patients and their needs are our focus.
A study center has also been established in our clinic. By participating in clinical trials, we are able to offer our patients innovative drugs and therapy concepts that would otherwise be difficult to provide to them. Research helps us to improve care for our patients.
