Congratulations to Dr. Federico La Manna for receiving a highly competitive SNSF Ambizione grant! He will start his activities at MOH/USZ and UZH in September 2027 (read more).
In his project “Beyond vicious: cellular and molecular mechanisms of spine metastasis formation in prostate cancer” he will investigate the cellular niches mediating seeding and growth of prostate cancer metastasis in bone and identify molecular targets for future therapeutic management of prostate cancer patients. Currently a postdoctoral fellow in the laboratory of Prof. Matthew Greenblat in Weil Cornell Medicine, Dr. La Manna will be hosted by the group of Prof. César Nombela-Arrieta.
