Certifications
The Comprehensive Cancer Center Zurich is certified according to the high professional requirements of the German Cancer Society.
Through its certification system, the German Cancer Society aims to improve the care of oncology patients. Cancer patients should be able to receive treatment at every stage of their disease, based on strict quality criteria (including high qualifications of medical/nursing staff and medical standards). Certified centers must demonstrate annually that they meet the professional requirements for the treatment of tumor diseases. According to recent studies(WiZen study and Roesler M et al, BMC Cancer Vol. 22: 621, 2022), patients at DKG-certified centers have a better chance of survival on average.
