Research Group Johannes Nemeth

Tuberculosis remains one of the most dangerous infectious diseases worldwide. Our primary focus is on researching the immune response during infection and disease caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis. We employ a wide range of different biological read outs to better comprehend the molecular mechanisms of infection and disease. Our objective is to develop new diagnostic methods and antibiotic‐independent host‐directed therapeutic strategies.
