Thanks to close cooperation with our colleagues in obstetrics and pediatric cardiology, a treatment plan is drawn up before the birth so that any necessary treatment can be initiated promptly after the birth and, if necessary, a transfer to the Heart Center of the University Children’s Hospital can be carried out.
If inpatient monitoring of a child with a heart defect at the USZ is indicated, the corresponding checks are carried out by the USZ neonatology team.
