Team of the Zurich Stroke Center

The stroke team is responsible for the acute treatment and admission of patients with a suspected stroke in close cooperation with the specialized nursing, physiotherapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy departments. It looks after patients during their stay in a specialized monitoring ward (stroke unit). The stroke team also works closely with the participating disciplines of neuroradiology, neurosurgery, vascular surgery and cardiology and triages patients according to the clinical indications.
