More about the Transplant Center team

The structure of the transplant center is based on the individual transplant programs. These are led by organ-specific teams, each consisting of a surgical and a medical partner, who are supported by numerous subspecialties. Their experts treat and care for their patients before, during and after transplantation, for the most part on a shared ward. At the end of 2007, the opening of the Transplantation Center created a joint structure for the optimization of resources and interdisciplinary teamwork.
