REVERSE Conference

Emerging antimicrobial resistance has become an endemic problem, increasing largely under the radar and threatening to deprive future generations of effective therapies. The EU-funded REVERSE project addresses this challenge directly with its goal to develop and implement cost-effective strategies and tools for the prevention and clinical management of healthcare-associated infections (HAI) caused by multidrug-resistant pathogens, and to reduce the burden of antimicrobial resistance (AMR) in high-prevalence healthcare settings. The REVERSE conference brings this evidence together in one venue and aligns it with the priorities of bodies such as the ECDC, the WHO, and the European Committee on Infection Control, helping to shape the AMR research agenda.
