Studied at the University of Basel. Trained as a cardiologist at the University Hospital Zurich and at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester (USA), specializing in vascular research. Research Prize of the Swiss Heart Foundation 2014. Habilitation 2014 in cardiology at the University of Zurich. Since 2012 attending physician in the areas of heart failure and transplantation, as well as echocardiography. Deputy since 2016. Head and since 2018 Head of Heart Failure/Transplantation.
