Specialist in internal medicine and cardiology. Additional qualification in emergency medicine, additional qualification in “Interventional Cardiology” (DGK) and additional qualification in “Acute Cardiac Care” (ACCA). Special training in transcatheter aortic valve implantation at the DHZ Munich. 2011 Habilitation in internal medicine and cardiology. Awarded the Vascular Biology Prize of the SGK (2011), the Siegenthaler Prize (2013) and the Götz Prize (2015) of the UZH. Senior Attending Physician at the Department of Cardiology, specializing in interventional and structural cardiology. Head of Acute Cardiology at the University Heart Center Zurich since 2014. Head of the Andreas Grüntzig cardiac catheterization laboratories since 2019.
