We care for patients with prolonged cycles, missed periods and many other cycle irregularities.
The Clinic for Reproductive Endocrinology specializes in the hormones that control the female cycle and influence women’s health. We see this as a holistic approach, so we work closely with other clinics and institutions in various areas. We focus in particular on the following areas:
- Bleeding disorders of any age
- Primary and secondary amenorrhea (absence of menstruation)
- Endometriosis
- Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS)
- Recurrent ovarian cysts
- Premature ovarian insufficiency (premature menopause)
- Premenstrual syndrome (PMS)
- Cycle-related complaints
- Cyclical migraine
- Androgenization symptoms
- Late-onset AGS
- Hormonal alopecia (hair loss)
- Hormonal weight fluctuations
- Hormonal effects of eating disorders
Diseases of the pituitary gland or adrenal gland are treated in close cooperation with the Clinic for Endocrinology, Diabetology and Clinical Nutrition.
We treat eating disorders and their effects on the menstrual cycle, but also on later health, together with the Center for Eating Disorders at the Clinic for Consultative Psychiatry and Psychosomatics.
