IFA video portal
We are scientifically investigating the effectiveness of using films to impart knowledge. The first large-scale study involving several hundred patients was published by the renowned British Journal of Anaesthesiology (BJA) . We were able to prove highly significantly that knowledge conveyed via video is implemented much better and retained longer than conventionally presented information. This reduces the likelihood of deviations from the standard and thus directly increases patient safety.
Filming takes place either in simulation situations or in actual clinical use. Of course, all persons who are recorded are asked in advance and give their written consent for the recordings.
A modern video editing suite with a powerful computer, a green screen recording room and professional camera equipment are available.
The IFA VIDEO PROJECT received the Zurich University Hospital Quality Award in 2016.
