Outpatient Cardiology Division
With over 30,000 consultations a year, the cardiology outpatient clinic is the largest department in the field of outpatient cardiology. In addition to the main outpatient clinic at the Campus site, an additional "Circle Cardiology Outpatient Clinic" has been operating in the newly opened USZ Circle since October 2020.
The cardiology outpatient clinic covers the entire field of outpatient clinical cardiology. In addition to a thorough cardiologic examination, we offer all clinical cardiologic examination modalities:
- Resting electrocardiogram (ECG)
- Cycling and treadmill ergometry, spiroergometry, lactate level tests
- Long-term ECG monitoring
- Long-term blood pressure monitoring
- Tilt table examination
- Device queries and device programming
- Laboratory tests
We are also directly connected to the echo laboratory, where we carry out all basic and special echocardiographic examinations (including transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography, 3D echocardiography, stress echocardiography).
