Whether it’s a skin cancer care consultation, psycho-oncology, social counseling, or other support services—we’re here for you.

Skin Cancer Care Clinic at the USZ

As nursing and medical experts in skin cancer, we’ll support you throughout your treatment and beyond. We are your dedicated point of contact at the Skin Tumor Center; we’ll answer your questions and support you if you have any concerns or fears.

We will provide you with clear and understandable information about your diagnosis, your drug therapy for cancer, and possible side effects. Together, we’ll discuss how you can better manage your symptoms and discomfort in your daily life and help you become more self-reliant. If needed, we can refer you to appropriate counseling and treatment options, as well as the right contacts at the Comprehensive Cancer Center Zurich (CCCZ).

In which areas do we work closely with others?

Psychooncology at the USZ

We provide you with compassionate and professional care—whether individually or as a group, in-patient or out-patient. Our services include counseling for anxiety, uncertainty, low mood, crises, or grief, as well as support in coping with fatigue, sleep disturbances, pain, and stress in daily life, at home, or at work. If necessary, we can also provide guidance on additional support services, groups, workshops, or a psychiatric evaluation. During our conversation, we’ll discuss what’s currently weighing on you, what kind of support might be helpful, and what next steps would be appropriate for your situation. We provide a space for relief, guidance, and clarity.
