About the Institute for Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology

Together with the Institute of Neuroradiology, the Department and Polyclinic for Nuclear Medicine and the Department and Polyclinic for Radio-Oncology, the Institute for Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology forms the medical division for imaging procedures, whereby radio-oncology and neuroradiology only contribute to the technology platform and diagnostics.

The Institute for Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology receives earmarked donations from third parties in the form of sponsorship. The sponsoring partners for radiology training courses and congresses can be found on the individual training programs.

In addition, the Institute for Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology receives the following earmarked donations from third parties, among others:

  • Siemens (Schweiz) AG from 10/2017 – 08/2018: Proportional funding of positions for scientific research into modern computed tomography techniques
