Chronic kidney failure treatment

Optimal treatment of the risk factors in chronic kidney failure delays the time until renal replacement therapy becomes necessary. The aim of our consultation hours for advanced renal failure is to delay the start of dialysis for as long as possible and to prepare our patients optimally for the time with dialysis or kidney transplantation. The options available are discussed at an early stage to enable a free decision to be made.

Our clarification and treatment options

Regular checks are necessary to achieve an optimal salt, water and acid-base balance. Blood pressure must be well adjusted. Later, preparations for dialysis, transplantation or even optimal therapy without dialysis must be planned. All options are discussed in detail. Hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis are shown in detail. The type of therapy depends on the decision of the person concerned.
