Physiotherapy Occupational Therapy
The USZ Department of Physical and Occupational Therapy, with approximately 150 physical and occupational therapists, is committed to providing high-quality therapeutic services to patients at the USZ’s clinics and institutes. In inpatient and outpatient settings, we work closely with the medical service, nursing staff and other medical specialists.

Our work with patients is based on careful assessment, specific assessments, evaluation and appropriate therapeutic interventions. In doing so, we rely on the available medical evidence and best practice.

- We are committed to promoting young talent and are an important training center for students at universities of applied sciences in both professions.
- With the Occupational Therapy Research Center for Physiotherapy, we are also actively involved in developments relating to therapies and collaborate with internationally active researchers.
