Services for international patients

Your trust in us is the driving force behind everything we do. We will be happy to answer your questions or talk to you about your concerns. We always try to fulfill your personal needs and wishes as well as possible and will do our utmost to ensure that everything runs smoothly during your stay with us and beyond.

We organize your stay at the USZ:

  • With the help of a specialist, we plan and schedule your individual medical treatment
  • You will be assigned a personal Patient Relations Manager who will accompany you to your appointments
  • We plan the follow-up care for you and send the medical reports to your doctor in your home country
  • We will always keep you and your family informed about your treatment, its progress and the necessary steps after you return home
  • You will receive an individual cost estimate before your stay and we will be happy to clarify the details of cost coverage with you

Additional services:

  • We will help you prepare for your trip and organize medical transport (to and from the USZ) if required
  • Arranging translation services or an interpreter for you. Our team speaks German, Arabic, English, Catalan, Kurdish, Russian, Ukrainian, Italian, French and Spanish
  • We will be happy to help you and your relatives find accommodation in Zurich for the duration of your treatment

Consultations via video conference

As an additional service, some of our specialist departments offer video conference consultations with Microsoft Teams. This gives you quick and easy access to our network of specialists. Our team will be happy to advise you on choosing the right doctor for your consultation and organize an appointment for your health questions and concerns.
