In the ranking of the American news magazine "Newsweek", the USZ is placed as the tenth best hospital worldwide and once again as the best hospital in Switzerland.
The ranking is the result of the outstanding work of the staff at the USZ. Many thanks to all those who work for the well-being of our patients every day – without them, this would not be possible.
Since 2019, the American news magazine “Newsweek” has been conducting the evaluation in cooperation with the statistics company “Statista”. The ranking evaluates 2,400 hospitals in 30 countries and is based on patient surveys, quality measurements and surveys of nurses, doctors and other professional groups.
