We offer you holistic care and the highest possible self-determination from the positive pregnancy test to the postpartum period. Our team:
- Supports a natural and gentle birth whenever possible. Use of technology only when medically necessary.
- respects the woman’s/couple’s right to make informed choices and share decisions (different birth positions, water birth).
- cares for the expectant parents individually and holistically (during pregnancy, during childbirth, in the postpartum period).
- ensures optimal support or promotion of the mother-child relationship (rooming-in).
Best specialist clinic in Switzerland 2024
The USZ Obstetrics Clinic was evaluated for the first time this year by the “Handelszeitung” in collaboration with the German market research company Statista and immediately took the top spot at this premiere – well ahead of the competition. The fact that medical experts gave very good ratings in the online survey underlines the clinic’s high reputation throughout Switzerland. The clinic’s new premises are also making an impact: the equipment in the birthing rooms scores highly as a “standout treatment”.
