4.00 pm - 6.00 pm
An organ- or tissue-on-a-chip is a multi-channel 3-dimensional and often microfluidic cell culture chip that simulates the activity, mechanics and physiological response of entire tissue/organ and tissue/organ systems. Such microelectromechanical systems offers the study of human physiology and pathophysiology in an organ-specific or multiorgan context.
