The research focuses on evaluating new diagnostic and interventional radiological procedures in terms of their clinical relevance and cost-effectiveness. His main areas of interest are the methodological and clinical evaluation of computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging, as well as the development of new strategies for the early detection of diseases.
The Institute for Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology is part of the Z-Inspection® initiative.
Z-Inspection® is a comprehensive, evidence-based process for assessing the trustworthiness of AI-based technologies at various stages of the AI lifecycle. In particular, the process focuses on identifying and discussing ethical issues and tensions through the development of socio-technical scenarios.
